International food, products, international dances & music, prizes - charitable event to support the Neonatal Unit at Sveti Duh hospital

The Christmas Bazaar of the International Women's Club Zagreb (IWCZ) will take place this year on Sunday, December 7, at the Zagreb Velesajam, Pavilion 7. The Bazaar will be officially opened at 11:00 by patron Prof. Dr. Tatjana Josipović, the Croatian First Lady. Popular for the international food, products & gifts, the Bazaar has become a favorite among locals and expats alike over the last 20 years. This year the IWCZ will present an exciting new addition to the program - international dances and music performances!

The very first Croatian Santa Clause race will be taking place in the city center of Zagreb on Sunday, December 21st. The starting point will be at the main square of Ban Jelačić at noon, on the route connecting the Ilica street, across Mesnička street and way up to the Upper Town, and back across Radićeva street to the main square. Similar to traditional Santa Clause races that take place annually in many European cities, this year's very first Croatian Santa Clause race promotes healthy lifestyle though running, but also promotes an important humanitarian cause – the organizers and all participants will be collecting Christmas presents and sweets for children from flood effected areas of Croatia in cooperation with the the Croatian Red Cross.

Everyone is invited to participate in the race; participants can join the race wearing their own Santa Clause costume, or they can collect it on the starting point of the race, until the supplies run out. During the race and after it, starting at 11 a.m. until 1.30 p.m. all participants and visitors are invited to enjoy the entertaining musical program on the main stage of Ban Jelačić square featuring children's choirs, Croatian singers and DJs, zumba dance, etc.
